How to Build a Successful Network Marketing Business When You Are No Longer Motivated

Hang in there my friend. You are not alone. For the record, it took me 5 years to get into the profit zone. It wasn’t anyone’s fault – honest. It’s certainly not the company’s fault. Sometimes I can’t believe how far I’ve come from losing money every month to making several five figures a month. But it happened to me and it can certainly happen to you too.

A It’s your business after all. It is your right to do what you want. Just make sure that’s really the reason and you’re not blaming them for it.useful approach is to look at the reasons WHY you are not motivated. If you think it’s because you’re not happy with your team, sponsor, products or company, then you have every right to switch gears and work with the management and company with whom you have the best chemistry and connection.

Now let’s look at ways you can bring this business back to life. Take a deep breath and let’s see what we can do to put things back together.

First, you’ll want to make sure you don’t make the same mistakes again. What mistakes have you made before? How did you network? Make a list of things you think you didn’t do well and keep the list in a visible place on your desk. Check it out and make sure you NEVER make these mistakes again.

In my case, I remember being known for doing research on the internet and justifying it with the reasoning I was learning. Yes, I was learning. But I was also spending too much time on things I didn’t need to earn here and there. I had to make sure I was spending less time reading and more time playing.

Have you been spamming other profiles hoping that clients or customers will flock to your awesome and creative website? If so, forget it, it doesn’t work!! It will never work… you can’t spam sites and expect people to just flock to you. I see network marketers constantly trying to spam, wring their hands, and balance. Let it go.

Remember, this is the internet. It’s full of people like you who are eager to start a machine business. Yes, that’s all you are, the business behind this machine. Remember this when you want to spam the next person behind this machine. If you keep this in mind, you’ll know that being more likable will get you a lot further. This is because there are so many scams and because of this people are wary of doing business transactions with others online.

You need to get out there and convince the World Wide Web that YOUR business (or products/service) is the best around. But spamming and sending unsolicited emails just won’t work. It’s a good way to get ignored, fast!

Start networking on a personal level. Treat it like your business, locally. How would you get local network marketing leads? How would you go about acquiring customers locally? Walking around town throwing business cards at people? We didn’t think so! You would shake hands and introduce yourself. Get to know others and even become known, right?

The same goes for online stores. Obviously, we know you can’t shake hands with them. However, if you start building relationships online and getting to know your new friends, you will start to see trust build. When that happens, they’ll ask you what you do, and you won’t have to sell anyone.

Bringing your business back to life is not hard work. It’s simple, but it’s not easy. There are times when it feels silly to continue. Moments when giving up is the only viable solution at this point. It isn’t. Remember, the only way to lose in this business is to quit. I know you’ve probably heard it before. But it is true. There are things you can do when you set it up.

Make a list of the things that excite you about your business. Was it a new house? Brand new car with leather interior? Travel the world? Break free from living in a cubicle? Do not worry. If others have reached this level, you can too.

Build a cheap but attractive website with what you have to offer. Go around and create some social media profiles and meet others. Social networks like Facebook, MySpace, Digg, Stumbleupon and Twitter are my favorites. However, the goal should be to build relationships with others and not spam them with unwelcome offers.

Finally, remember your grandmother’s words: “Patience is a virtue”. It doesn’t work that way. Building any business, including a home business, takes time and effort.

Go for it,

p.s. Ah Remember the most important advice. Smile. Believe it or not, others can “feel” a smile when they are talking to you. And everyone is trying to buy hope and happiness, not products or businesses.
